This Citizen’s Charter outlines the services provided by Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital and the standards patients and the public can expect, in line with the guidelines of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

Patients’ Rights
- Right to timely and dignified medical treatment
- Right to information about diagnosis, treatment and cost
- Right to informed consent before any procedure
- Right to confidentiality of medical records
- Right to seek a second opinion
- Right to lodge a grievance without fear of denial of treatment
Patients’ Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete health information to treating staff
- Follow prescribed treatment and hospital protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and avoid overcrowding in wards
- Treat hospital staff and fellow patients with courtesy
- Carry a valid identity document / Swasthya Sathi card for registration
